Raise a glass to those who have served in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps
Your local Aussie Sports Bar & Grill (The Rock) honours our veterans.
Aussies, Kiwis (and anyone like-minded) are encouraged to drop by on
ANZAC Day to toast those who have served and enjoy some great food & drink specials in their honour.
ANZAC Day is celebrated on
April 25th of each year.
For those unaware,
Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who have served.ANZAC Day is simlar to Veterans Day or Rememberance Day , celebrated in the U.S. and Commonwealth of Nations respectively on November 11th. As members of the Commonwealth, Australia and New Zealand also observe Remembrance Day.
