Q&A about CBD Oil

      What is CBD?

          CBD stands for "cannabidiol". It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis. CBD is derived directly from the hemp plant. CBD is a non-psychoactive compound unlike the more known compound of cannabis, THC.

      Is CBD legal in Japan?

          YES! 


          CBD is legal in Japan as long as there are no traces of THC. 


          West Side CBD (our resident expert) has partnered with a farm in Oregon, USA and it is safely and legally imported to Japan. The CBD is third party tested from an ISO Certified lab so you can be sure that it’s coming from a reliable source.

      What are the benefits of CBD?

          Remember, CBD is non-psychoactive. So you cannot get "high" like you would from consuming THC. 


          However, there are many benefits from CBD. It has been known to help people relax, help with anxiety and stress, aids in getting better and longer  amounts of sleep, and also acts as an anti-inflammatory to help with aches and pains of the body.

      Are there any side effects and is it safe for everyone to use?

          CBD is a safe substance to take, however you should not take CBD if you are pregnant and should consult your doctor first if you are taking any other prescription medication. CBD is often well tolerated, but some effects may include dry mouth, drowsiness or fatigue.

      How do I use the CBD oil and how much should I use?

          Simply drop the West Side CBD oil under your tongue and hold it there for about one minute. This will help the CBD absorb quickly into your body. Everyone is different and may be affected differently. Start with a lower dosage of about 15-25mg and adjust from there. You may feel more of an affect if you use the oil on an empty stomach. To help aid in sleep take upwards to 100mg before you go to bed.
