Holy Mother of Pearl: Oysters!

Rocco & Croco • March 9, 2021

Oysters; the ultimate aphrodisiac...

...are natures gift to man. Harvested for hundreds of years all around the world, they have transformed from the working man's food to something of a luxury.

Whether freshly shucked or deep-fried, they have the same great taste and appeal regardless of the source.

fresh oysters

The Rock Nagoya offers two ways to have your oysters:

  • an oyster appetizer with 6 fresh (never frozen) oysters, lightly-battered & fried, and served with our tartar sauce, or
  • as a part of our enormous seafood platter which includes fresh cod, shrimp, squid, and chips to boot. Probably best to share as it’s a fair dinkum massive plate of seafood.
Fried Oysters

Paired with some wine, be it red or white, or even Champagne, oysters are the perfect choice when you want to go for something different.

Whether you have a hankering for some delicious, locally-sourced seafood or want to take advantage of the purported benefits of oysters (wink), The Rock has you covered!
